Elopement Wedding Lake District
We decided to make our Wedding an Adventure. We Eloped to Rome with our two young boys. Being on our own made everything more intimate, a fantastic connection with our suppliers made them feel like family by the end of the day. We stayed in Rome for only 3 days. Following Rome, we went to Dubai and then off to the Maldives. Our adventure in total was nearly 3 weeks long, spending that time as a family of four and as newlyweds were just unforgettable. We cannot thank our suppliers enough especially Veronica and Benni & Carol.
I wanted a chilled, fun vibe for the day which was definitely made. Even the little things like making a stop during photos to go grab a Gelato with the suppliers were just so lovely. Styling-wise I wanted boho and relaxed. Little did we know the camper van we had hired for the day had photo props, whilst my husband and I were having photos, our children had dressed up and surprised us wearing wigs and inflatable props, it made great photos and was absolutely hilarious.
I made my flowers and the buttonholes myself! As we were going abroad and I wanted to keep them I made them from artificial flowers. Benni and Carol stole the show! Their work is absolutely amazing and such beautiful souls. My dress... I loved it! The most comfortable dress I’ve ever worn, I actually chose it online before I went to see it or try dresses on. I went straight to the boutique to try it on and knew it was the one immediately. I tried others on but they just weren’t the same.
