We planned and completed the whole wedding within four months! So, with finding suppliers, we went straight to people we knew whose weddings we had really enjoyed or had a similar vibe to what we wanted. The limited time did affect some of the choices we could make (a lot of dress designers have long lead times), but we found this just focused us more.
The drinks reception straight after the ceremony was really special. It was a sunny, windy, crisp March day. We had firepits roaring, everyone wrapped up with sunglasses on, the Irish trad band playing their fiddles and everyone with a glass of either champagne or Guinness (or both!) in hand. Everyone was on such a high and we loved watching everyone laughing and hugging in their groups.
