What Made The Day Unique
As a wedding photographer herself, Jo knew it would be quite tricky to do something that was entirely unique - hasn't everything been done before?! We've seen all manner of wonderful weddings and definitely took inspiration from those, but instead of trying to be 'different' or purposefully do something alternative for the sake of it, we decided to just go with what we truly love and what felt 'us’. Jo's initial priority, of course, was to choose a venue that would be photogenic and a brilliant photographer and videographer, so we thought a lot about light, but beyond that, we really just focused on having an amazing party for all our friends and family. We tried to think of ways to make it a little bit fun, like having singing in the ceremony and an ace magician for the reception, but still stay true to everything we enjoy normally.
