What Made Our Day Unique
Our suppliers really did go the extra mile. Nicola and team at the venue covered every single detail which wasn't covered by us - one of the guests even said they were amazed there was a special set up baby changing and feeding area away from the party. The band had everyone dancing on their chairs before the main course even came out to gangstas paradise and the bride and groom got to do a special Craig David set on podiums during dinner. The celebrant was the Groom's friend and it was such a unique ceremony - everyone was asking where we found him! It was very tailored to us and there were many mentions of penguins. The bar the Bride's parents made had every type of gin imaginable and a special gin pairing menu with each of the tonics and edible flowers. The florists flowers were unlike any other we have seen and made the place look spectacular.
Inspiration & Styling
We really wanted a relaxed outdoorsy wedding which was contemporary, suited our personalities, and the coming together of the two cultures. We also just wanted to give our guests a really good time. The Rajasthani Indian umbrellas, mendhi hand favours and colour scheme were inspired by the Grooms heritage. The venue, band and style of the day were inspired by the Brides heritage. The food was a fusion of both! We wanted the day to be vibrant and pack a punch of colour and reflect the party nature of our guests and our own personalities. The bar said it all.
