A harvest wedding with incredible autumnal colouring and a boho theme

Wellington Wood is a sustainable outdoor wedding venue in Norfolk, with its own ancient woodland ceremony area. It also has a rustic, handmade larch wood cabin, meadow and harvest cart. This made it the perfect venue for a harvest wedding! Norfolk seasonal produce, local artisans and wedding suppliers and the autumn harvest play an important role. The big Norfolk skies and soft autumn sun over Wellington Wood nestled in West Norfolk's countryside created a natural rustic setting for this autumnal wedding inspiration.

Wellington Wood backdrop for a harvest wedding

Autumn's orange & brown tones ran through the inspiration for this shoot. Along with textures of wood, naturally dyed cheesecloths & sustainable dried flowers. These are the elements that tie together a harvest wedding shoot like this. Hand-made wood calligraphy signage and sustainable props were moved from ceremony to celebration. The autumn harvest of gourds, pumpkins and fruits from the trees added to the backdrop. This colour theme continued throughout including local artisan cocktails, local artisan chocolates & macarons.
