It's never too early to start planning - we had four years to plan our day and there were probably still a few tiny things that we missed or completely forgot about! You can never be too prepared. Try and share the planning between you as much as possible. Aloysia did most (99%) of the planning and arranging, etc., which caused unnecessary stress on her part! Buy things along the way early in the build-up as opposed to leaving it all until the last minute - we spent a lot of money in the final few weeks!

Our friend, Vikki, handmade our wedding signs for the day as a wedding gift, and we were so happy with the outcome! Also, our photographer, Carrie, was simply incredible and we couldn’t have asked for any more! She was in full ninja stealth mode and managed to capture some amazing shots without anyone even realising she was there. She was the best! We tried to use local suppliers and friends as much as possible ahead of big companies.
