Step right into the Castello Di Petrata! Emily & Brad’s dreamy Italian wedding featured plenty of personal touches throughout. From their best friend carrying out the ceremony to reading their own vows to staying together the night before, it was all about what made them comfortable as a couple! Wanting a rustic but elegant theme, they opted for neutral colours and lots of white gypsophila and greenery. The venue has such beautiful gardens so we didn't feel the need to overdo it with the decor. Emily had a whole Pinterest board prepared and always gravitated towards simple yet sophisticated schemes.
WEDDING DRESS ADVICE
“Ladies, try on lots of different dress styles at a few boutiques and take a maximum of 2-3 people with you. I just took my Mum due to Covid restrictions but it was actually such a special memory for us both that I’ll cherish forever!” Emily
DESTINATION WEDDING
Emily & Brad maintain that if you’re umm-ing and ahh-ing about a destination wedding, you should just go for it! They loved the fact they were able to turn one day of celebrations into a week-long holiday! Sharing those special moments with your family & friends is something you simply won’t forget. Surrounding yourself with incredible suppliers is a big must, as they make things that little bit easier.

Emily & Brad’s dream was a huge party with a touch of Italian elegance, full of laughter and surprises for their guests. Their sunset dinner was an Italian sharing feast, which guests loved! An 8-piece band then surprised everyone with a ‘party train’, followed by fireworks and dancing under the stars. Their friends & family haven’t stopped talking about the entire day!

People can get so stressed when planning what is meant to be the most amazing day of their life. Don't fall out over insignificant things like wedding favours or seating plans. Enjoy every minute and go with your gut.
The Castello Di Petrata provided the perfect location for Emily & Brad’s dream wedding. They knew they wanted a destination wedding, but if you’re unsure, perhaps you could look into prolonging wedding celebrations to a weekend rather than a holiday.
