Their wedding was planned in under six months and kept to immediate family, allowing for an intimate day. With a relaxed yet chic and luxurious vibe, Amy opted for a Malina suit, whilst Dianne selected a boho-styled dress. Both perfectly complimenting one another. City Chambers Edinburgh wedding
Having been together for 7 years, we had been talking about getting married. Upon discovering Dianne's sister would be visiting from Australia in April 2022, we took the plunge! We planned our wedding in under 6 months and kept it to immediate family only. We wanted to have a delicious lunch, for everyone to feel relaxed and spend time together as a family. Everyone met up on the morning of the wedding and walked down the Royal Mile to Edinburgh City Chambers. Our wedding was small and absolutely perfect for us.

VIBE & STYLING
The vibe was casual and relaxed whilst also being chic and luxurious. Amy always knew she wanted to wear a suit with a veil and Dianne selected a boho-style dress to compliment this. We wanted our flowers to have hues of orange and white as a pop of colour with our outfits. Our Dads and brothers wore traditional tartan outfits and our mums both looked beautiful in a silk dress and jumpsuit. We wanted everyone to be comfortable and wear what they wanted, ourselves included.
ADVICE
Our advice would be to really think about what is important to you for your wedding. For us, it was the fact we were getting married, rather than having a large wedding. Don't be afraid to do something a little different from other people! Such as having a smaller wedding, or incorporating non-traditional elements into your day, as it is a reflection of both of you. We loved having a short time between deciding to get married and the wedding day itself.
Amy’s cousin also played the bagpipes as they walked the Royal Mile to City Chambers Edinburgh.
When we got the photos back from Boda Photography we were absolutely over the moon! She captured the day so well and really went above and beyond our expectations to create some magical images. We have been quite surprised by the reaction from some of our suppliers asking to share the images on their platforms. It has been so lovely to relive the day over and over again.
