Off The Shoulder Wedding Dress In Provence

Marilyne’s off the shoulder wedding dress is the die for. The bride is head seamstress at Halfpenny London, so you know the frock at this stunning Provence wedding was always going to be a jaw-dropper. Keeping it all in the family, Marilyne’s parents created all the florals, her sister-in-law crafted the stationery and her mum even made her famous spiced rhum as favours for the gorgeous guests. My favourite moment, however, has to be the bride being walked down the aisle by both her father and stepfather. Nothing brings together a family like a wedding. Let’s go off and soak up all that sunshine.

What Made Our Day Unique

"Having our close ones and best friends with us for three days and seeing everyone having the time of their lives is what made our day unique. I was born in the South of France, but Raj and I live in London so our wedding was a way of reuniting everyone in the motherland and make the Brits discover the beauty of Provence. Our celebrations lasted four days, (The civil ceremony was in Hyeres, then three days at the venue) which was amazing because it allowed us to really appreciate each and every moment." - Marilyne and Raj

Off The Shoulder Wedding Dress

Quite rightly, the off the shoulder wedding dress was one of Marilyne's proudest moments. Combining her years as a bridal seamstress with the inspiration of her grandmother's wedding dress, Marilyne worked with her team at Halfpenny London to make a spotty tuile Bardot necklined number. it's one-of-a-kind and fits like a glove!
