Inspiration

It's no secret that a rustic autumnal wedding is always a favourite here at Rock My Wedding and one with a glasshouse reception is no exception. Who could possibly be opposed to some tiny pumpkin decor, dark and moody florals, and velvet? Certainly not us. This editorial shoot offers all of that and more! With some pretty accessories provided by Recommended supplier, Clare Lloyd Accessories, the bridal look is just a vision. The green velvet wedding shoes are definitely a highlight for us and are closely followed by the epic flower columns with pampas grass. Have we enticed you enough yet?

Autumnal style wedding with a Victorian glasshouse reception

We took inspiration from the beautiful grounds of the barn at this time of year, the leaves starting to turn and acorns falling.

glasshouse reception

An autumnal shoot where rustic chic meets modern glamour. The overall styling was a rustic, modern fusion. With a rustic wooden table and gold accents throughout, to the modern wedding gowns with subtle sparkles. The combination of a rustic glasshouse reception with modern flower columns that included touches of pampas grass worked wonderfully. What makes an autumn wedding? Pumpkin decor, of course! The mini pumpkin table decor and the dark tones of the flowers really showcase the season.

fashion and beauty

The groom wore a beautiful brown tweed suit with a green tie that matches the amazing green velvet heels that the bride wore.
When it came to the wedding gowns a contemporary vibe was key. The look was achieved with two dresses. Both of the dresses had side splits to show off the fantastic shoes. The bride's hair was left completely natural and accessorised with a gorgeous gold clip. The bride did her own makeup and also made it soft and natural with the addition of some glam lashes.

The autumn season offers so much choice with decor!

We wanted to create a floral heavy shoot in rich, warm autumnal shades. It was important to use multi-tonal colouring throughout the styling. We paired beige and blush with pops of rusty orange.
