Inspiration

When we talk about a showstopping bridal look, this Jesus Peiro cape is exactly what we have in mind. Sophie & Jon's city wedding is so chic. The couple married at The Connaught hotel with an intimate ceremony consisting of twenty guests. If all of that doesn't tell you that this couple has excellent taste, then maybe the fact that they had Recommended supplier, Papier, complete their stationery and Recommended supplier, The Wedding Shop, for their gift list.

Shimmering Jesus Peiro cape for London wedding

The best advice would be to not take the process too seriously and to enjoy it. Think about what aspects of the day are really important to you and focus on getting them right. Make sure the decisions you make are authentic to you as a couple and do not worry about tradition!

Jesus Peiro Cape

Sophie's Jesus Peiro cape is just stunning. She started looking online at designers during the pandemic with the thought that she wanted something chic and elegant, which Jesus Peiro has in abundance! She found the dress through Miss Bush and had so much fun at her initial appointment. The dress she chose had a cape, which gave her the coverage that she was after, and the fabric had a slight shimmer that looked perfect in the April sun. Sophie & Jon wanted their day to be relaxed, modern and personal. They chose a black tie dress code to get everyone looking sharp to match the stylish London vibe with sweet peas and anemones to decorate.

London Wedding

The couple had an intimate ceremony and lunch for twenty at The Connaught Hotel, followed by speeches by the bride and groom and a party at Carlton House Terrace. Sophie & Jon were keen to have a city wedding close to home. Because it was the first city wedding they had been to, they had a lot of choices in terms of suppliers. The couple found their intimate ceremony perfect for them as they got to spend quality time with their friends and family before heading to the evening party with more guests. For decor, they opted for a variety of white flowers, green foliage, and some grey/blue taper candles for a little pop of colour.

We are all about the cool and chic city vibe of this wedding!

One of our favourite moments of the day was walking into the Maple Room of the Connaught and seeing how our florist Augusta had transformed the space for lunch. It was exactly as we had imagined, in fact, better!
