Ok, we are seriously loving this colourful day complete with pom pom wedding decorations! Genevieve and Shane found themselves slightly uninspired by the venues they visited and decided to take matters into their own hands. Being a slightly quirky couple with plenty of creativity to give, they opted for a Wes Anderson-inspired colour palette and theme. Wanting to move away from formalities, they opted for a festival and relaxed feel. With a ‘help yourself’ bar shed, hired food trucks, garden games, AND a second-hand marquee. Their day just exudes fun and personality! Of course, our fabulous Recommended Supplier, Joseph Allen-Keys Photography, was on hand to capture this colourful day!

There were a lot of things we weren't sure we could manage or pull off, but we really surprised ourselves! We'd say go for it in regards to any creative or DIY ideas you may be having doubts over. It is a proud moment when you manage to pull it off!
POM POM WEDDING DECORATIONS & TRANSPORT
We are absolutely loving this colourful decor addition. Genevieve and Shane decided on a DIY wedding. This is not only a great way for you to have creative control, but it’s also eco-friendly! If you fancy recreating their backdrop, it was made from a plastic gas pipe spray painted gold, and decorated with felted pom poms made by the bride, groom and bride's family. Genevieve also travelled in retro style in a vintage bus - love! If you're unsure about how you'd like to make your way to your wedding day, don't panic, we've got your transport covered (beep beep).
DIY WEDDING & STYLING
If you’re looking to have a DIY wedding, then we’ve got plenty of inspiration when it comes to your Big Day. Remember, enlisting the help of family and friends (just like Genevieve & Shane did), is a huge help! Genevieve & Shane are also giving us serious style throughout their big day. We’re loving Shane’s dusty pink coloured suit, complete with a retro-styled pink ruffled shirt and bow tie. Not to mention Genevieve’s beautiful pixie cut complete with her embellished bridal crown!
Genevieve’s bright floral bouquet is giving us serious art deco vibes!
A highlight was watching a guest accidentally pop an entire wedding confetti popper into his crotch as we walked back down the aisle together.
