In our wedding trends for 2023, we predicted that colour clashes using bold tones would be popular and this wedding is proof! Koula & Michael wanted all the extra vibes and went big with the wedding flowers, statement puff sleeves on the Chosen by Kyha wedding dress, and a pink champagne tower! Red and pink wedding theme for a stunning contemporary wedding at Middleton Lodge
Walking down the aisle was my favourite part. I knew I’d find it difficult as I had lost my dad 5 years earlier and always looked forward to having him walk me down the aisle. But seeing Michael’s face when I started walking down absolutely made it for me. And being able to get married outside with the string trio playing Kissing You by Des'ree in the background along with the birds tweeting. It couldn’t have been more perfect!
Red And Pink Wedding
Koula & Michael wanted the vibe of their wedding day to be ‘extra’! Any guests who thought their outfit might be too much or show-stealing were told to go for it. The flowers were big and bright and matched the red and pink wedding theme colour palette that perfectly complemented the rustic elegance of Middleton Lodge and those deep forest green bridesmaid dresses from Reformation. Even the wedding drinks were pink! The couple had a pink champagne tower and pink wedding cocktails Barbie would be proud of.
Chosen by Kyha Wedding Dress
The wedding outfits from this day are unreal! Koula wore a Chosen by Kyha wedding dress with detachable pearl sleeves by Christie Nicole. She paired this with platform Chanel shoes, a pearl bridal clutch and a red and pink wedding bouquet! It's perfection. The groom wore a Reiss suit and shirt, a Tom Ford bow tie, and Hugo Boss shoes. Koula & Michael didn’t want to go too traditional with their outfits but also didn't want anything to become dated. They wanted their day to be of the time and modern but still beautiful!

Don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t let it consume you too much. Just go with it and enjoy it. We couldn’t have been more laid back. It was up to us how much we enjoyed the process and it wasn’t on anyone else. We had a 2.5-year engagement and it was perfect. We booked our suppliers in good time and got everyone we wanted and it gave us more time to pay for it. If possible, do a small gathering the night before and stay an extra night after your wedding. Opening cards in bed together the next day was one of our favourite moments.
