Katie's brother, Dave, did a beautiful reading called 'The Little Things', which was an adaptation of an original piece. The guests were brought to tears and many commented on how stirring and touching it was. Dave's delivery and presentation of the reading were impressive. The reading is also in the video below.
We had planned to go simpler, smaller and cheaper but we are so glad we took a relaxed approach to wedding planning and just went with suppliers and extras that we felt suited us and ultimately felt right. This meant we ended up with a wedding that was a bit bigger that went over the original wedding budget, but it was a day that reflected us and what we felt was important for our wedding. So our advice is to 'go with the flow' and not to be too static in plans.
