The smoke flares that launched a thousand likes. Well, quite a few thousand at that… You may recognise this gorgeous pair from Instagram where they caused quite the stir, but we have something even better for you. Of course, we’re talking about the whole of Carly & Bradley’s in-cred-ible wedding captured flawlessly by Recommended photographer Olegs Samsonovs. We’re being serious when we say if we fell down a rabbit hole and ended up here we’d think we were probably in wonderland because, oh wow. The dress. The woodland ceremony. The disco balls (the perfect accompaniment for Recommended DJ Boombox UK). We could go on, but we’ll let the snaps do the talking. And oh boy do they talk… Anyway, enough gushing for one day, take it away Carly & Bradley!

Oak Barn Tree wedding with smoke flares and outdoor wedding ceremony.

It was relaxed and stress free. We just wanted people to enjoy themselves given the year/years we’d had of restrictions! Instagram was a huge help for choosing our suppliers.

SMOKE FLARES SHOTS

We've said it before and we'll say it again, we do love smoke flares. They make some of the most showstopping wedding photos, and are a great way to add some spice to your day! Carly and Bradley certainly turned up the heat, and their photographers Olegs and Rita are a real dab hand at the old smoky shot. But that wasn't the only thing that is making us feel a little, well, hot. The golden hour couple shots are making us simultaneously cheer and cry, which can only be a good thing...

MUSIC

The music at this wedding definitely deserves a mention. Carly walked up the aisle to her mum and dad's first dance song 'Let's Stay Together' by Tina Turner and sung by her friend Maria. But that's not the only tearjerker... Carly and Bradley left to Etta James' 'At Last', pretty apt for a post-pandemic wedding and sort of making us melt a little inside. They turned up the vibe by entering their reception to the YMCA, and having their first dance to Joesefs version of 'Thinking Of You'. From tears to a boogie, just how it should be!

STYLE

We have to talk about Carly's dress. Because, oh wow. Not only does the Riki Dalal gown fit flawlessly, but the embroidered details have us all starry-eyed. (You know it's the one when it outshines rainbow smoke flares.) But she wasn't the only one who nailed their outfit. The long sleeve grey bridesmaid dresses were a magical sight to behold. And we can't forget Bradley cutting a suave figure in his three piece suit and floral buttonhole. A day of wonderful outfits if we do say!

If smoke flares aren't your thing, have you heard of sparkler exits...

Oleg and Rita absolutely stole it for us they were the best addition to our wedding they were kind, helpful and so talented with everything they did. They are just amazing. Anyone who has them photograph their wedding will not regret it!
