Recommended Suppliers, The Stone Barn Cotswolds, do it again with this incredible wedding! Having rearranged their day 4 times, Rosie & Jack were more than ready to make their way down the aisle. Having an incredibly talented bunch of family & friends, they were able to turn to their nearest and dearest for stationery, signage, music, cakes, lighting, flowers and hair & makeup! Their wedding list was supplied by Recommended Suppliers, The Wedding Shop, and their day was beautifully captured by Harry Michael Photography. Not to mention Lips & Locks providing the Hair & Makeup! Rosie & Jack sure do have good taste in suppliers…
Stone Barn Cotswolds wedding
When first planning, we didn't know where to start, so we turned to Rock My Wedding to find our venue! We heard great things about Stone Barn and the food offering (Jack and I first bonded over our love of food and music!), so having outstanding food was a nonnegotiable.
ADVICE
Pull in as much help from close friends and family as you can! There are so many little bits that you can't organise or sort out until the last few weeks, so it's a massive help to ease the stress for others to lend a hand. Don't stress over what you can't control - with the last 18 months we've had there may be some obstacles you'll need to overcome... but it'll all be worth it!
VIBE
We wanted the vibe to be a big party with all our friends and family. I chose my Rime Arodaky dress as it wasn't traditional and had the amazing puffed sleeves and thigh split. I needed a pair of statement shoes! My perfect Miu Miu gold platform sandals are the comfiest heels I've ever worn and completed my party bride look! Jack knew he wanted a Paul Smith suit that was a little different - the day's colour palette was based around the blues of his suit and the pink thread that ran through the check.
FAVOURITE MOMENT
So difficult to choose our favourite moment! We absolutely loved after the ceremony! We walked out of the barn to be greeted with an Old Fashioned for Jack and a Negroni for me, we then walked through our guests throwing confetti. Lots of cheering and smiles, and the love in the room was palpable. Harry (our photographer), captured so many incredible moments throughout the day, but the photos he got from this are our favourites!
We love Rosie’s puffed sleeved wedding gown! So classic yet modern.
All of our suppliers were absolutely incredible - and we couldn't have done it without our friends & family. A massive shout out to our photographer Harry, who saved the day when our original photographer couldn't make it. It was obviously meant to be as he loves a negroni (not on the job!), bakes a banging sourdough and we got on like a house on fire. Our families thought he was already one of our mates - and now he absolutely is!
