Our couple today wanted a relaxed, fun, informal day and this is the perfect example of how a venue can really compliment the feeling you want to create on the day. Justina and Simon chose one of our gorgeous List member venues as the backdrop for their wedding, and an Elmley Nature Reserve wedding is always a spectacular wedding. They used local suppliers for food and the bar, as well as creating their own mini sports day. Seeing Justina beaming from ear to ear in the middle of the sack race is going to make your day!
Down tools, dear readers, for this one-of-a-kind wedding venue deserves maximum attention. Boasting wildflower meadows, a wildlife corridor that is simply perfect for a wedding procession and a unique range of eco buildings and accommodation, The Sychpwll Centre truly is a wedding wonderland – and Debbie & Seb really do make the most of it with their magical yurt wedding. From the gorgeous naked tipi, made by the mother of the bride out of bamboo and greenery, to the glitter station that saw even the older guests getting involved, this special celebration is filled with fun, love and endless laughter, not to mention fierce bridal party fashion in the form of a crochet Made With Love wedding dress and pretty mismatched peach bridesmaids from RMW recommended retailer Rewritten.
I really wish I could inhale this whole page and take in the scent of the fabulous florals by Floribunda Rose. They really bring this wonderful concept to life.
The thought behind the shoot, planned by Charlotte Nichols & designed by Fleur and Fig was based around timeless botanical with a slight nod to boho-luxe, combined with the natural backdrop of The Matara Centre venue, an abundance of fine art imagery by Philippa Sian Photography and a ‘destination’ wedding feel, and you have some pretty heady inspiration.
With a whole wealth of other talented suppliers and pretty to pore over, make sure you’re sitting comfortably so you can enjoy every inch of this botanical beauty.
