We wanted something a little unusual and incorporated personal touches on the signage with quotes from some of our favourite songs.

Don’t focus on traditions and expectations from family members or friends, just do what you want to do as a couple – whether that means eloping or not doing speeches if it makes someone uncomfortable with public speaking. It was our goal for everyone to enjoy the day and for those closest to us to have a part in it. We asked friends to be masters of ceremonies for that personal touch and our mums to be included in the ceremony. Just do what you want, it’s your big day after all – make sure you enjoy it!
