Intimate Oxford Wedding at Bodleian Library with First Look

A modern romantic wedding, with bold florals and unique statement features, aimed at increasing representation of disability within wedding inspiration.
The first dance was an important feature of this shoot. The Great Hall provided the perfect backdrop to this special moment, with live music provided by saxophonist KYRIsax.
I wanted to showcase some unique show-stopping statement features in this shoot, so we drew inspiration from the natural world to contrast with the classical setting of the beautiful Dulwich College. The towering natural-form sculptural wedding cake by B Bakes London, set against the backdrop of a stunning floral installation in the Master Library, transforms the otherwise traditional setting into one bursting with wild, natural beauty. The colour palette of rich jewel tones perfectly complements the classic surroundings.
There are wonderfully talented suppliers out there who will work closely with couples planning their wedding, to ensure their individual needs are met, and help them achieve the wedding of their dreams. Examples in our shoot included florals that are set at different heights for a seated bride, braille on the bespoke stationery, and beautiful live music to set the perfect romantic tone. Amongst the many incredible organisations working to improve inclusiveness for the disabled community, are Unhidden Clothing, who helped me get this project off the ground, and LGBTQ+ Equality Weddings, with their 'Guide To Inclusivity', aimed at helping wedding suppliers achieve true inclusivity in their services.
