Black-Tie Banquet Wedding At Historic Burghley House

A stylish black-tie wedding at a historic English stately home, Burghley House, featuring long-table banqueting, modern music choices, elegant florals and thoughtful videography inspiration.

Make decisions that feel right for you! We did personal vows, which we loved and our guests loved to hear, but if you don't want to be so vulnerable in front of everyone, private vows are a great alternative. Similarly, I wanted my movie moment of coming down the aisle by myself, so it felt like it was just Jake and me. There are no rules, and doing what feels right for you is what will make the day special to you, so don't let anyone else sway you from your opinion!
Our favourite memory of us achieving this was having a private first dance before our wedding breakfast, which was so romantic and let us practice in my dress for the first time! We also wanted a proper entrance to our evening since we were having more evening guests than during the day, so we took some time for just the two of us to catch up with a glass of wine, whilst the evening guests were arriving. We then had a big entrance to the evening announced by our MC and started our first dance straight away, which we loved!
