Magical Winter Wedding At Scorrier House

Written by Leah Blundell

This charming winter wedding at Scorrier House features a handmade wedding dress, a unique afternoon tea wedding breakfast, thoughtful charity “favours,” and jazz-club evening entertainment all planned in just six months.

We planned our wedding in a little under six months, so we didn't have much time to look for inspiration. We just went with what felt the most "us"! We knew we wanted it to feel romantic, quite classical and a little Christmassy (of course!), and we had always wanted to get married at Scorrier House, so we designed our wedding around this and a few other themes/influences, such as the Cornish hunting tartan.
Go with your gut and let your wedding resemble you both and what you both like. It's a celebration of who you are, so try not to get swept away by too many outside influences, as keeping your wedding as "you" as possible will add so much joy and ease to your day.
