Invest in the suppliers that matter to you and don't panic book without doing your research. They make a huge impact on the planning process and how your day runs. Do not be afraid to ask for help! Utilise your friends and family - they may have different skills or ideas to make your day bespoke and unique.
Wedding with Wildflowers
Lauren & Sam wanted their wedding to have a vibe that was a reflection of them, their interests and personalities. Their shared love of nature was a driving- force behind choosing the venue, with florals as the focal point of styling. The pastel blooms meant the rest of the decor was earthy with greens, amber and pinks. Sustainability-focused, Lauren & Sam ensured the blooms were reusable, moving them from ceremony to barn, bud vases for guests and pressing them post-wedding. Aisle flowers made perfect floor meadows at the end of each guest table and the ceremony meadows lined the front of the top table. Recommended Supplier, Moody Blooms, gave Lauren & Sam advice on how to press flowers from their arrangements to enjoy for years to come. Here’s what this fabulous florist has to say about wedding flowers.
Flowers are an investment and really do transform any venue so it’s lovely to consider how you can preserve them ahead of the big day. Working closely with clients to meet and talk regularly ensured confidence in the planning process and enabled a fluid design aesthetic and wonderful working relationship throughout. Calls, meeting at the venue and spending time with Lauren at a wreath-making class before the wedding was an ideal opportunity to get to know a little about Lauren and Samuel in a relaxed manner. As a florist, I will treasure experiences like this.
