Our vision was to create an intimate wedding in the rustic countryside with a modern and luxurious twist.Doriane Descamps
Tucked away in the English countryside, High Billinghurst Farm was the perfect location to turn our vision into reality. Despite the rustic feel of the barn, it's also the perfect location for a modern and quiet wedding. Who knew luxury and rustic could go so well together? As soon as we entered the barn, we immediately felt part of a romantic comedy. The fireplace, the leather sofas, the smell of fresh fields and nature... and most importantly, the most unique bar we've ever seen - YES! The motorbike is actually a bar.
The florist from Gray and Greenery composed the most beautiful and earthy flower arrangements with a combination of fresh and dried flowers. Laura Hillman's table setting provided the perfect setting for a moody and modern winter wedding. With the help of Helen from Celebrants of Surrey, the suppliers watched and learnt about the beautiful representation and meaning of a wine ceremony. The wine, given by High Clandon Vineyards, tasted different to everyone; a symbol of embracing differences when uniting two people in marriage.
To suit the venue and style, we decided to choose natural tones. With the dried flowers already decorating the barn along the columns and the chimney, the taupe colour scheme was a perfect match.Doriane Descamps
