We used Allan to shoot our elopement in Skye and from the moment we first met him, he made us feel at ease and it felt like we had known him for years! Laughing all day and taking some breathtaking photographs, we have a cherished day captured forever thanks to Allan! I would highly recommend anybody to use his services. Allan took the photos for our wedding day up in the Highlands and I could not recommend him more. From start to finish he was incredibly helpful, professional & made us feel totally at ease. Neither myself nor my Husband (still getting used to saying that!) are particularly comfortable in front of a camera or being the centre of attention, however, Allan was able to direct us with ease and captured us just being us, without any of the photos feeling awkward or overly posed. Allan was able to deal with everything that was thrown at him that day including harsh lighting (not a cloud in the sky!), very cheeky junior bridesmaids, all sorts of wild terrain and 2 particularly awkward souls getting hitched! After receiving our photos back from Allan, we must have spent a solid week just staring at them. We have had countless people tell us that they are the most beautiful wedding photos that they have ever seen. We are obviously biased, but we would have to agree! We couldn't be happier - they feel like a perfect representation of our day. With plenty of shots of the magical moments and lots of wonderful candid shots of our guests too, who had travelled thousands of miles to attend. We couldn't have asked for more in the service that Allan provided to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for your event or wedding day. Thank you again Allan!
