What Made Our Day Unique

The Irish culture has a lot of traditions that were new to me: passing of the rings, handfasting, etc. and we were sure to include those in the ceremony. With over 75 people flying over from America, it was fun knowing that my friends and family from the US were also experiencing a wedding in a new way and in a different country. Being surrounded by the most important people in our lives was a humbling, surreal experience.

Inspiration & Styling

After my first visit to Greystones, Ireland to visit Domhnall's family for the first time, I was mesmerized by the Irish Sea. It was breathtaking - and walking distance from his childhood home! The grey sky mixed with the grey rocks and water laid the foundation for our styling. I commissioned a watercolour artist to paint the Irish Sea for our custom envelope liners and that carried over into everything else from the cake design to my dress
