Inspiration

You know that sweet spot between summer and autumn? We're dreaming of those days thanks to this gorgeous shoot at Reymerston Hall by Megan Duffield. It's a total feast for the eyes with THREE different dresses to drool over, plus a rather exquisite bridal cape. The whole set up is just... *chef's kiss*. The blooming autumnal flowers, flowing linen drapes and candlelit altar displays are almost ethereal, with Reymerston Hall's Georgian windows and high ceilings catching the light perfectly for that delicate and dreamy feel.

Fun fact: Reymerston Hall is a 1700s Grade II listed Georgian property and the former home of Ken Wallis; inventor, a record breaking pilot, James Bond stunt double of Sean Connery and a war hero! Basically, it's awesome.

Warm, autumnal colours fit perfectly with Reymerston Hall's rustic barn and countryside views.

The concept of the shoot was inspired by a blend of Autumn colours and the work of editorial & fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski. Reymerston Hall provided an abundance of natural light through the tall Georgian windows and high ceilings.

FLOWERS

Floral Sistas used loose natural displays for the larger scale backdrops, featuring blousy roses, dahlias, lisianthus, orchids and achillea. Choosing shades of deep burgundy, peach and pops of mustard for the seasonal foliage; it was all perfectly accompanied by plenty of glowing candlelight.

TABLESCAPE

Similarly, the tablescape featured floral accents of posies, soft beige tapered candles and soft blue linen serviettes, contrasting with dark, autumnal colours for the menus for a luxe, modern feel. Inspired by the colours and flavours of late summer, sugar flowers in deep gold, bronze and peach tones adorn a toffee apple and cinnamon cake.

ACCESSORIES

Eden B Studio's unique and delicately unstructured handmade hair pieces are inspired by beautiful botanicals of the English countryside; with soft colour palettes and natural forms. Not to mention the elegant floor length veil which adds to the delicate celestial feel as it catches the sunlight. Absolutely unreal!

Golden hour at Reymerston Hall is the perfect backdrop for these warm tones and draped altar archway.

The shoot ended in the grounds of Reymerston Hall underneath a tree decorated by a linen draping and flowers to create a natural archway. The cross back dark wooden chairs worked with the warmth of the candles and the orange and golden flowers along the aisle.
