This starry wedding dress is the stuff of dreams! A stunning Cornish wedding just filled with personal touches and boho vibes. Romi's incredible style is also obvious through her leather jacket, (Recommended Supplier, Niamh Designs!) From their beautiful beach pictures to the stunning sunflower bouquets, we absolutely adore the lightheartedness this day brings. Their fur baby, Pablo, was also present on their Big Day! Andrew also happens to be incredibly handy, and put together their wedding arch, photo booth, doughnut wall, pallet order of the day, photograph display, tree trunk seating plan AND cake stand… Phew! Is he available for any other weddings!?

We didn't want anything too formal as it's just not us. Also, we met in lockdown and it was the first time our extended families came together, so we wanted to bring them together.
STARRY WEDDING DRESS
Having worked in the bridal industry for many years, I knew I had to have a wedding dress with a difference. Something non-traditional but still romantic that incorporated my love of stars. Etsy was a big help and I found an evening dress; a black starry number by a shop called Flutter Dress. I then had my wedding dress come up in related searches, a beautiful romantic star dress by Chotronette. I asked if they could make the dress but with the fabric from another style - they agreed! And the galaxy unicorn dress was born.
ADVICE
Be mindful of your budget. Create excel spreadsheets and don't feel like you need to invite every single person you have ever known! You will find bargains, DIY options and better suppliers by shopping around. Then you can splurge a bit at the end on the finishing details. If you’re not familiar with the area you’re getting married in (as we ourselves don't live in Cornwall), Recommended Suppliers on websites like Rock My Wedding really do help. Etsy will be your best friend no matter your budget or style! Our 8ft wedding arch was built in Andrew's parent's back garden!

Having been in the wedding industry for a long time, I've seen lots of different trends and styles come and go. I think our wedding fits in with current trends but has its own twist to it.
