Inspiration

Hello there - and HELLO to the most incredible pink Vivienne Westwood wedding dress. We've seen a lot of weddings in our time - so when our jaws drop, in cartoon fashion, to the floor, it must be a testament to an outstanding day. Having postponed three times due to Covid, Eve & Robin had the most colourful, fun-filled, festive party ever with beaut balloons, stunning streamers, heartfelt speeches, and appearances from Dolly the dog. The breathtaking florals that tied together the bridal look perfectly were done by Recommended supplier Bels Flowers - 10/10. Recommended venue Middleton Lodge served as the perfect backdrop for this pretty in pink wedding.

We thought we'd seen it all - until we feasted our eyes on this insane pink Vivienne Westwood wedding dress!

Because of Covid-19, we postponed three times, with our original date being 17th May 2020. We left it a full year to our second date, and then due to restrictions still being in place, we settled on 27th June. The postponements were made up for in seconds by the incredible, colourful celebration that took place! We wanted it to be fun, and a feast for the eyes.

Vivienne Westwood wedding dress

We've said it before, and we'll say it again. That pink Vivienne Westwood wedding dress... The mind boggles. How can one dress be so perfect in every way? Not only is it perfect to look at - it suited Eve wonderfully, and she had her own sentimental reasons for going with Viv. The bride has been working for Vivienne Westwood for 16 years at the time of the wedding, so it was an absolute dream come true for Eve to have a dress made by her.

It's impossible to pick one favourite moment from a day that was filled to the brim with incredible memories. To name a few; the Vivienne Westwood wedding dress of my dreams, my dad seeing me in said dress, the flowers, the balloons, Dolly our dog being present, everyone's incredible outfits, the speeches, the entertainment, the pink smoke grenades... Need I go on?

A fabulous fest of colour, balloons, dogs and love - what a wedding!

If I had to give any advice to couples planning their wedding, it would be this. Enjoy the build-up! Even though ours was delayed, and there were a lot of tears along the way for various reasons, I thoroughly enjoyed planning. Also, even though it's a lot easier said than done - soak up the day as much as you can. Enjoy every moment. Time flies, and before you know it, it's over. I would also highly recommend having a videographer
