The best moment of the day was when the string quartet started playing my own arrangements of my and my partner’s favourite music.

Elmore Court Gloucester Wedding

Elliot & Jack's wedding at Elmore Court in Gloucester gave them a classic backdrop to work with. Although marrying in a traditional setting, this day was full of modern people, and bursting with a chronological journey through music from start to finish. Yep, starting with Motown then going into funk into disco into electro into house and finally into modern bangers, the music for this day was carefully curated. Elliot & Jack had DIY everything! The grooms put as much customisation as possible into their special day to layer their own style and character on top of the beautiful country house venue. Elliot & Jack scented, hand filled and stamped the muslin confetti bags. They also designed and printed the stationery, and place settings, and even hand-squeezed 200 fresh limes and lemons for the cocktails. With all these monochrome and minimalist details, including those monogrammed wedding favours, we think this styling is so elegant!

Trust your suppliers. Your wedding doesn’t need to cost the Earth. Doing some things yourself adds so much character and love to the day.
