We curated music playlists for various parts of the day from about a year before the wedding. Every time we heard a song we liked we’d put it into a playlist; it meant all the music was personal to us and matched the mood.
Emmy & Tom
Emmy & Tom’s styling and vibe was very much curated by them. Their venue (FiveFour Studios), happens to have a very industrial look and is in fact a photography studio in Manchester. Wanting to embrace the look rather than go against it, they opted for a few textures to soften the feel - hence the gold streamers and plenty of gorgeous flowers! The gold and Autumnal colours lend themselves perfectly to their retro styling. Emmy & Tom sourced brown medicine bottles from an antique shop in Manchester and used them for their floral centrepieces. We love!
Finding the right suppliers was incredibly important to Emmy & Tom. They opted for a mix of friends and small businesses that they support regularly, meaning every detail was discussed and really meant something to them. Their wedding invitations were designed by a local tattoo artist who has tattooed the couple many times and is a friend! They really set the tone for the wedding. The custom design was even incorporated into their table decor and we are just a little obsessed!
Everyone tells you that you will be too busy to spend time with your partner on the day. So we took a little time out in the middle of the day. We grabbed a whisky at the empty bar together and just took it all in. Our photographer Mark thought this would be a great moment to capture and the photos are stunning and take us back to that moment, it really was a special memory from a fantastic day.
