Irish Country Wedding in Marquee With Bridal Coat And Flower Installation

What Made Our Day Unique

"Planning a wedding either at home or at a venue is extremely exciting as well as pretty daunting, but it is the opportunity to create something truly unique. We planned our wedding at my family home in Dublin, getting to create every detail of the wedding made it so personal & unique to Fred and I. As we have had it at home we made it a weekend affair and really prolonged the party, having the second day was brilliant, we were able to relax a lot more. My final reflection on having a wedding at home would be, though it is a big commitment, the pain is worth the gain. You get to create something which is a total reflection of you both, there is no end to the creatively you can achieve."

Inspiration & Styling

"We had a mix of influences for the design from India where I travel for work to the garden where the wedding was hosted. However, the fact that the wedding was in a garden we were inspired to create a bohemian botanical feel. The floral colour theme was very organic, greens and whites, lots of herbs and ferns interspersed with white sweet peas and peonies. The inside of the marquee was block printed to match our wedding stationery."
