This urban wedding couldn’t be more innovative and stylish. From the copper altar adorned with blush blooms and magnolia tree branches, to the etched perspex and lightbox signs. And not forgetting bride Hannah’s immense concrete cake perched on geometric stands (but you wouldn’t expect anything less from an uber talented cake designer).
The wonderful Camilla Arnhold and This Modern Revelry did a spectacular job of capturing all the love, pretty, love and general deliciousness. So much so my eyes literally haven’t been able to stop popping out of my head. My fingers are now at the ready as I know I won’t be able to stop myself from pinning all these fabulous ideas too. Enjoy lovelies ones, it’s truly inspiring.
We love sharing at home weddings with you all. They are always absolutely full of sentimental touches and DIY details.
Emily & Pete’s marquee wedding is no exception with it’s vintage motorbike and side car to satisfy the petrol head in the groom. Then there’s the surf simulator because you know he surfs too. Emily’s influences can be found in the decor with cream & copper spray painted tin cans and delicate white blooms. Plus her and her maids gowns add a touch of glamour to the country vibe with sparkles and sequins.
The garden wedding culminated in everyone having a wonderful time dancing the night away to The Deloreans with Camilla Arnhold Photography capturing all those special moments.
Oh my gosh this fairytale wedding is SO pretty. I simply adore the delicate palette of white, blush and grey filling Pennsylvania Castle in Dorset. The coastal views are absolutely stunning, as are the grounds and interior, making this one AMAZING place to say I do.
This gorgeous urban city wedding is literally going to knock your socks off. I am well and truly smitten with Every. Single. Detail. For one, although it’s in the heart of London at Brunswick House, an old mansion set amongst the skyscrapers, it feels like the quaintest country wedding with greenery, florals & fashion to die for.
So lets talk about the fashion. Our stunning Bride wears the most beautiful satin Charlie Brear Haliton gown covered with a delicate lace Augustine jacket and then completes her stylish look with an incredible pair of silver Bionda Castana shoes. Honestly folks I think I’m in shoe heaven. Janey’s best girls are also wearing the most fabulous grey Virgos Lounge gowns, which we are always swooning over here at RMW HQ and we’re also partial to a Groom in a kilt, especially when it’s been passed down from generation to generation.
I think you can tell how giddy I am, so before I let you take it all in, I just want to say OMG the flowers. The flower arch in particular, oh and the bouquets and the buttonholes and the centrepieces, all of them are simply A.MAZ.ING from That Flower Shop.
Get those pinning fingers ready folks, you’re going to want to come back to this one time and time again :).
When you know you just know. That’s exactly what happened to Amy and Kevin who met last February, were engaged in May and married in October. Why wait when you’ve found your forever life partner? the couple planned their super pretty wedding in just 8 weeks, a feminine and rustic affair with the beautiful pinky peach “Vuvuzela” rose as a focal point and colour scheme reference.
Think dappled sunlight and fairy lights, think the very epitome of romance. There are so many clever ideas included in the text too – you lovelies are going to adore this feature!
This afternoon we’ve got a lovely engagement shoot for you all to swoon over. Justin and Camilla’s gorgeous Autumnal engagement shoot took place in the New Forest, which really is a lovely part of the UK. Wild ponies, babbling brooks, sunlit dappled glades – there really is nothing more beautiful than a forest for a natural backdrop.
Camilla and Justin are both photographers, so when chosing a photographer for their engagement shoot & wedding, I can imagine there were advantages and disadvantages. Lots of amazing contacts, but having to relinquish control??
Well luckily these two could call on Helen Cawte and Hayley Savage. As well as working individually, Camilla and Helen also form duo Millie & Belle and so the whole shoot basically became a collaborative creative effort.
The ladies all contributed different elements to the setting, everything other than the flowers was made by them or bought from their homes. Much more than just pretty faces these girls aren’t they?! That cake looks delicious…
The photos below are a mixture of film and digital as they wanted to see how the two dealt with the colours and faded light in the forest. The film images were then used afterwards as a base for our post processing of the digital files, to replicate the look. I think the overall look is gorgeous – very soft and romantic. Camilla and Justin look like they should be in the pages of a glossy magazine.
The beautiful sculptural bouquets, table settings and head piece were made by florists Little Lillies and add the perfect touch of colour and style to proceedings.
