First Look for an Outdoor Destination Wedding in Tuscany with Wooden Signs and Lace Wedding Dress

If heaven were a place on earth, I think Tuscany would have a good claim to it. Rolling hills, winding roads and cypress trees make for the most picturesque backdrop which, when combined with amazing food and stunning Renaissance architecture, is enough to make your heart skip a beat at every turn – and that’s before you’ve even said your vows! Katrina & Mark’s wedding has that magical quality that only the Italian landscape provides: a classical romance made modern in the stunning setting of Casa Cornacchi. I love the fairytale feel created by the soft textures of the bride’s beautiful lace Essense of Australia dress and the gorgeous drapery hung across the altar and behind the top table. Further romance comes in the form of first look photos, stunning blush and burgundy florals, and beautiful calligraphy signage and stationery, as well as the confetti moment with guests throwing eucalyptus leaves.

Keeley & Jon

The gorgeous Casa Cornacchi in Tuscany, Italy has to be one of our favourite destination wedding venues – the surroundings are just so picturesque, the ceremony space is divine, the whole venue can be hired exclusively, with plenty of accomodation for guests, and there’s a swimming pool – what’s not to love?!

Keeley and Jon clearly loved the venue too, as they planned their big day in just 6 months and kept the decor really simple as Casa Cornachhi is just so stunning in it’s own right.

Bride Keeley wears Hanoi by Enzoani, which just fits her like a glove and also happens to be the very first dress she tried on! It was meant to be…

Sophie & Simon

It’s a real pleasure to finally bring you the wedding of RMW Real Bride Sophie this afternoon. From the very start of Sophie’s wedding planning journey, we had an inkling that her wedding was going to absolutely gorgeous…and we were right. It’s SERIOUSLY beautiful and most definitely worth waiting for.

Exactly what you’d expect from the girl who has had a wedding planning file under her bed since she was 7 years old…

In her very first post, Sophie listed the four things that she and Simon felt were most important for their wedding day – a beautiful venue in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, delicious local food and drink, gorgeous white, ‘poufy’ flowers and timeless, to-die-for photography…and as you’ll see, they ticked off all four boxes to perfection and had a truly beautiful day.

Along with Sophie’s lovely words, this is a real treat for a Tuesday afternoon – so grab a cup of tea, sit back and soak it all in…
