Lauren and Craig’s wedding story which took place in Southern Italy between the stunning surroundings of Monastero San Silvestro and the beautifully classic town of Cortona in Southern Tuscany and what a picturesque sight it is too. Especially when blessed with beautiful golden light, framing some truly gorgeous couple and bridal party portraits. Just wait until you see the ladies spaghetti strap gowns. Slinky satin and delicate lace make these ladies the epitome of style and grace.
I’ve got all the heart eyes for Elly’s beautiful David Fielden wedding dress, she looks gorgeous and there are just so many lovely elements to it – the soft neckline, the slinky fit and the lacy back are all making me swoon. Elly and Mark had a London wedding, at two of our favourite venues, instantly recognisable to those of you planning a city wedding and probably those of you who read RMW on a daily basis too…
It’s always a treat to feature a wedding with the boys wearing tweed, this fabric is so great for adding an element of texture and fun to the gents outfits. The couple cleverly paired Mark’s Walker Slater suit with some Next high street bargains for the groomsmen. Excellent shopping all round.
The stunning images come from On Love & Photography who shoot the most stylish weddings in the loveliest way.
This morning we’re jetting off to Marrakech for a glorious light and colour infused wedding at Fawakay Villas. Annabel and Mike said their vows against a backdrop of sunshine, strutting peacocks and the most amazing fire show whilst guests sipped their drinks poolside.
I particularly love that Annabel opted for a rose gold frock from David Fielden which suits her and the exotic venue perfectly. Come and take a look…
Jacqui and Ross’ big day is a corker! An absolute belter of a beautiful wedding day. The pair have magically managed to fuse rustically romantic elements with a sophisticated and contemporary wedding theme to produce something that is just exquisite to behold.
The pair married against the beautiful backdrop of Shustoke Farm Barns complete with girls in probably my favourite maids’ frock of the year so far and supersized bouquets of frothy white hydrangea. I’m also very much admiring Jacqui’s simple but elegant David Fielden gown as well as the table centrepieces complete with antlers and spiky thistles.
I have such a soft spot for a coastal wedding, and this one from lovely duo Navyblur is just gorgeous. Lesley & Alick live on the Northern Irish coast and wanted their guests to celebrate the beauty of their local area on their wedding day, as well as celebrating their marriage, so they designed a mini road trip from their ceremony venue to their reception venue, Limepark, with pit stops along the way for bubbles and ice cream, as well as admiring the fantastic views of course. This kept things really entertaining for guests and made for some great photos too!
Lesley makes such a beautiful Bride, wearing a stunning David Fielden gown that is draped to perfection, stylish Stuart Weitzman shoes, and she has such glossy locks and flawless skin – Alick is a lucky chap indeed. Although he did create the fabulous branded wooden signage you’ll see throughout the big day, and looks pretty handsome in a kilt, so we think he’s a keeper too!
The fabulous tartan details, luscious foliage and sparkly festoon lights in the barn create such a cosy atmosphere for a party too – this is definitely one of those weddings you wish you could have attended!
I’m more than happy to admit that I have a serious case of shoe envy having seen Faye’s mustard coloured horoscope themed wedding shoes from Charlotte Olympia. Yep that’s them pride of place in the sliding images up top there. I’d even go so far to fess up that I had a peek at my own star sign but they weren’t as nice as Faye’s which is probably a good thing seeing as I’m s’posed to be curbing the spending at the mo. But we’ve gone off track haven’t we.
Faye’s shoes aren’t the only lovely thing about this big day. There’s the amazing reception venue for a start complete with gorgeous lightbulb installation and then there’s dapper Brad in his three piece suit accessorised perfectly with a Brook’s Brothers bow tie. Oh and I’m not forgetting the Best Woman either – Brad’s sister ticking all the smart sartorial boxes with her Temperley suit.
If you’re looking for something a little bit more modern then this is the wedding for you. Let’s take a look.
Um……um…..Um some more…..where do I start?!
This. Is. Absolutely. Bloody. GORGEOUS.
Liz & Fraser were married at Stoke Newington Town Hall and held their reception at the stunning MC Motors in Dalston. The flowers are absolute perfection, everything is clean and urban yet with an unmistakably feminine twist – my favourite kind of styling. And it’s all just so sexy.
If your Tuesday started out a little drab and dull it’s just about to do a complete 180 lovelies, prepare to be dazzled!
You may recognise the lovely Sarah and Nic. We featured their Editorial-esque engagement shoot back in May, so we’re thrilled to share their wedding with you this morning. And it’s extra special because the images come from the wonderful Claudia Rose Carter.
I love it when a couple gets married at the Bride’s family home and that’s exactly what Sarah and Nic decided to do. I can imagine there’s something very comforting about getting ready in the home you grew up in and celebrating your marriage in your old back-garden, surrounded by the people you love.
I’m also a huge fan of simple, elegant details – for me all you need to make something look beautiful is flowers and candlelight and that’s exactly what Sarah chose to style her big day with.
To entertain the adorable little ones at this wedding Sarah and Nic provided them with an Eye-Spy list, a pencil topped with a golden animal (see here for a tutorial) and a camera. If only we got to see the awesome shots captured by the little monkeys.
Louise and Oli’s wedding is just so full of summer fun – it’s the perfect wedding to bring you on a Monday morning. There’s a bouncy castle, space hoppers, a candy floss machine AND a Mr Whippy ice cream van!!
It’s a real family affair too…the gorgeous couple held their reception in a tipi at their home and incorporated their little girl’s Christening into their big day as well. Which I think is such a lovely idea.
There are so many pretty decor touches too – I love the chalk board table plan, the flowers in milk churns and the silver candelabras adorned with flowers and elegant ivory candles.
And if you’re looking for sparkly Bridesmaids dress inspiration then Louise’s choice of gown for her girls will definitely give you a touch of the green eyed monsters…
