Highcliffe Castle Wedding with Bride in Homemade Wedding Dress Carrying a Protea Bouquet

There is a secret princess in all of us that wants to wear the perfect gown and get married in a castle. And Bride Alice did exactly that in a gorgeous homemade wedding dress to her perfect groom Francois. The whole Highcliffe Castle wedding is full of atmosphere and emotion, captured beautifully by Carrie Lavers Photography and featuring confetti and entertainment from Shropshire Petals and DiscoWed, both of whom are on our reccomended supplier directory The List. Keep your pinning fingers ready for the immense King Protea bouquet and wedding flowers too!

Jenny & Jamie

Oh my gosh this family unit are off the chart adorable, not to mention super cool, just like this tipi wedding at The Georgian Rectory in Buckingham.

Bride Jenny wears Charlie Brear, and Groom Jamie dons a mustard jacket, and complete with their littles are the epitome of goals.

Guests were fuelled with Bloody Mary’s from the drinks station and treated to tracks by DiscoWed and the vibes look fun and inviting.

Capturing all this lovely sentiment is Jackson & Co Photography and Blooming Lovely Films, so get ready to swoon and sigh.

Kayleigh & Ian

I’m not sure what I would have done if my own husband had broken his leg two weeks before our wedding but Kayleigh and Ian took everything in their stride and actually made Ian’s injury work for them, crutches and all!

Kayleigh wore the very beautiful Rose frock by Jenny Packham as they said ‘I Do’ at The House Meadow in Kent surrounded by friends and family against the beautiful lake backdrop. I particularly love Kayleigh’s choice of blooms – white roses, blue hydrangeas, gypsophila and lavender – and the candid images that Marshall Gray Photography captured of the littles at this wedding. Come and take a look…

Fliss & Charlie

The woodland botanical theme on todays wedding at The Lawn in Essex is nothing short of spectacular. There’s cute little ceramic animals surrounded by moss, herbs and succulents and the tallest wild flower arrangements amongst tin cans filled with even more beautiful florals and flag table names.

Bride Fliss also wears an absolutely stunning delicate hair vine to continue with the whimsical theme, but opted for a pair of statement ‘Dorothy’ esq. red glitter Vivienne Westwood shoes to go under her gorgeous Alan Hannah dress.

And if all the talk of fabulous fashion & flowers wasn’t enough to entice you, then I should definitely mention the gorgeous beach portraits captured by RMW fave Babb Photo. Quaint beach huts, rustic boats and love, ahhh swoon……

Kate & Kim

Kate and Kim, by their own admission spent much of the the time planning their country house inspired wedding in the pub. Frankly, if this beautiful big day is anything to go by then I heartily recommend that more couples spend any wedmin related time in the pub. Any excuse for gin eh? 😉

On a serious note, I take my hat off to any bride that encourages her maids to be A) mismatched and B) clad in a jumpsuit. I haven’t forgotten the boys either who look pretty snazzy in their contrasting tweeds.

Photographer on the day Matt Ethan has taken probably some of my favourite ever shots of the wedding toasts and first dance. You can feel the love and excitement and laughter in the room almost as if you were there with Kate and Kim and celebrating with them. Beautiful!
