‘Tis the season to be jolly, and this candlelit Christmas wedding at Gray’s Inn London is certainly full of joy.
Cara & Huw fully embraced the festive season with seasonal wreaths and Christmas carols, and smiled the whole time making John Barwood Photography‘s job a delight. It helped that he knew most of the family, having already captured Cara’s sister Lorn’s wedding, that RMW were lucky enough to feature too.
So if you want to feel all warm and cosy inside, definitely take a moment to savour this beautiful Winter wedding.
We love hearing about how each couple truly make their day their way, and Amalie and Olly managed do to just that in abundance.
Amalie’s family are Danish and Olly’s English so a gorgeous traditional wedding in Denmark incorporating many Danish traditions definitely fit the bill. There are kissing ceremonies that could potentially last hours! And surprise Helicopter getaways. Plus gorgeous portraits by the fabulous John Barwood Photography to swoon over. The one in the corn field left me speechless it’s so perfect.
I haven’t even got round to the fashion and flowers yet, but trust me you are going to LOVE them too. Enjoy every minute lovely ones.
Your jaw is going to hit the floor when you see how Sarah and Tim have decked out The Barn at South Milton. Honestly, it just looks incredible, the absolute epitome of rustic luxe. The pair sourced a team of excellent suppliers who brought their vision to life, and it’s a total pleasure to be able to share this wedding with you all today.
The icing on the cake is the epic photography from John Barwood, as always he has capture all of the emotion as well as the glorious details. Sit back, relax and enjoy this one lovelies, it’s a beautiful wedding day…
Picturesque views that go on for miles, and an adorable love story culminating in a luxe wedding at La Bastide de Gordes in Provence, France. It doesn’t get much better than that right?
Styled to perfection by Haute Weddings Planners, especially the outdoor wedding ceremony with it’s blush pink and white floral arch and aisle floral arrangements on wooden barrels. It is the epitome of wedding goals.
Then there’s the super sleek, super stylish fashion with groomsmen in Tuxedos and the bridal party wearing elegant fitted gowns from Carolina Herrera and Amanda Wakeley. Who together look like they’ve just strolled off a catwalk.
Wasn’t yesterdays Sunday Spring weather a treat and a half, especially after all the snow we’ve been having, well Tonya & Lee’s wedding at Pennard House continues to mirror that feeling, with it’s dreamy outdoor ceremony and rustic barn reception full of bunting and romantic florals.
Tonya also looks an absolute vision in her Jenny Packham gown. The delicate cap sleeves and lace back details are truly exquisite and so complimentary to groom Lee’s brown tweed suit and the bridesmaids blush Needle & Thread dresses.
I’ve literally ooh and ached my way through the lovely set of images by John Barwood Photography, the morning preparations and ceremony in particular are full of emotion and heartfelt moments. So get ready to swoon and enjoy!
A last Wintery hoorah this afternoon, from the styling genius that is Jess at Blue Wren Barn. I always love featuring her shoots, especially when they are shot by John Barwood. Throw in the serious talents of Ruby & The Wolf and you’ve got yourself one helluva gorgeous set up. This is a masterclass in how to style a Winter wedding.
It’s great to see the recently converted stables at Pennard House too – we’re suckers for big barn doors and the agricultural space is the perfect setting for this shoot.
I’d go as far to say that this is a dream team of suppliers, many of whom you’ll find in our hand picked supplier directory, The Love Lust List, so even if you’re not planning a Winter wedding, do check them out. And if you are planning a Winter wedding, then be prepared for an overwhelming urge to recreate ALL OF THIS on your wedding day…
Lovely Bride Lorn is making me want to be her friend. She has no shame over admitting that she totally fan girl-ed over RMW while planning her wedding, and I’m a total RMW fan girl, one of the originals in fact 😉 She also based her wedding reception meal around the ULTIMATE French restaurant – L’Entrecote, where they only serve steak and chips, with the most buttery, herby sauce you’ve ever tasted. Honestly if you haven’t tried it before, you haven’t lived. In fact, if anyone wants to join my new BFF and I on a road trip to France then let me know…
Now that her wedding day is over, she’s enjoying her daily dose of Rock My via our lovely interiors site, Rock My Style, so we’ve well and truly welcomed her into the fold. THANK YOU Lorn & Russ for being so lovely and for letting us feature your beautiful wedding day.
Images come from the wonderful John Barwood – his work always strikes a note in my heart and this wedding is no execption. And we’re not the only ones who think so, John received a Junebug Wedding Photo Award for the image of the couple dancing during the ceilidh reception. It’s SO striking and captures the essence of joy that a wedding brings to perfection. Right, let’s get started shall we? I have a feeling you’re going to love this one…
There is something so dreamy about a classic military wedding and Sarah and Adam’s spring celebration at Eastington Park manor house in Gloucestershire does not disappoint.
Both dressed in stunning sartorial attire including Sarah’s gorgeous Allure Bridal gown with full tulle skirt and intricate embellished bodice. She looks every bit the princess next to her dashing prince in uniform and both wearing a smile from ear to ear. Every time you look at them you can’t help but smile too.
As well as the gorgeous fashion to feast your eyes on there are the oh so pretty blooms and decor. All in delicate pastel shades all just oozing romance and all utterly fabulous. The reception in particular with cherry blossom centrepieces and ribbons on the back of the chairs is truly breathtaking…..
You can’t beat a classically beautiful wedding in the heart of the English countryside complete with princess dress and boys in dapper suits. Good job that we have just the ticket for your perusal on the blog this morning then!
Arabella chose the beautiful ‘Gracie’ dress by Fashion Pack member Suzanne Neville to glide down the aisle in towards her beloved who incidentally has a very romantic way with words if you choose to read her sweet note that he sent along with diamond earrings on the morning of her wedding. I know – diamond earrings! He’s a keeper that one 😉
Come and see all the glorious details for yourselves.
