Alicja & Chris

There’s something so striped back about elopements. It really is all about the couple, the love, and what’s truly important to them.

Alicja and Chris adore London so it was there only choice when it came to the location. You can tell they have a good eye for fashion too. Alicja’s Agata Wojtkiewicz Atelier gown makes her look like a grecian goddess with its one shoulder detail, and to see her mustard yellow Manolo Blahnik’s poking under the hem is like a little ray of sunshine. Not to be outdone Groom Chris wows in a striking cobalt blue Paul Smith suit and tie by Ian Scott Kettle.

Making this intimate union even more adorable is that it all started with a proposal with a yellow De Beers diamond. All this and more was captured beautifully by Joasis Photography, so sit back relax and enjoy.

Cheryl & Daniel

Just in case you were feeling a little bit blue post-bank holiday – here’s a seriously fun, festival inspired wedding to cheer you up. I know, I know, you can thank us later 😉

Cheryl and Daniel’s big day just sums up the city of Liverpool for me – stylish, open, friendly, and full of music and laughter. What makes it even more special, is that the images come from Marcos Sanchez, one of our favourite photographers, who literally turns everything he touches into gold. (Seriously, check out his website and prepare to swoon)!

The rooftop portraits of the gorgeous couple are stunning and I can guarantee after one look at Cheryl’s skirt you’ll all be questioning why you’re not donning layers and layers of tulle for your own big day…

Enjoy beautiful people! And I hope this puts a big smile on your face this Tuesday morning.

Tessa & George

Today we are sharing the wedding of gorgeous couple Tessa & George, whose engagement shoot we featured earlier in the year. As soon as I saw the stylish pair I just knew their wedding was going to be spectacular and I’m pleased to report it most definitely is!

Tessa mentioned that she was painting the invites and that they were making litres of elderflower cordial and sloe gin for favours, and it’s just lovely to see them in action. I’m blown away by Tessa’s work and the dinky bottles of drink are just so sweet. (George’s Marvellous Medicine is the PERFECT name for George’s sloe gin). We are all swooning over the outfits too – Tessa took a chance on her Rue de Seine gown and ordered ‘Chloe’ as a sample dress from a Sydney based boutique. What a fantastic decision that turned out to be! And as for George? We think he looks like the perfect Gentlemen in a chalk pink suit by Paul Smith…and his words about his outfit choice did make us chuckle.

The gorgeous images are from M&J Photography, whose work never fails to capture our hearts and we’ve also got the wedding film from Clark and Palmer for you, which includes some of George’s speech on the audio. It’ll have you all in tears – it’s just lovely.

Charmaine & Ed

You know you’re in for a treat when you get the fabulous husband and wife duo and Love Lust List members Anna Clarke Photography and Simon Clarke Films capturing your day, and what a wedding it was!

Although our beautiful couple married in Autumn there is a magical Christmas feel to their wedding. It could be Bride Charmaine’s glamorous Justin Alexander wedding dress, fur stole and red lip combo or maybe her Bridesmaids fancy black lace No.1 by Jenny Packham frocks. But I also think the super luxe mercury glass votives with overflowing white blooms, succulents and simple yet stunning gypsophila that looks like snow drops add to the pure magic and sparkle too.

Charmaine & Ed were so super savvy when it came to creating their overall look on a budget. They’ve got a wealth of handy DIY tips, crafts and places to shop so you too can achieve your dream day whilst holding on to more of your hard earned pennies.

Gemma & Dan

If you like your weddings full of pretty details, roses and balloons galore, princess dresses, castle-like buildings, with a sprinkle of sparkle thrown in for good measure – then you’re going to love Gemma & Dan’s rose gold inspired wedding from the glorious Lake District. Dalston Hall Hotel is a beautiful venue – small enough to hire exclusively for your big day, but grand enough to impress your guests and it looks stunning as the backdrop to your photographs.

Gemma wows in a Maggie Sottero gown with Jenny Packham accessories and we love the boys in their Prince of Wales check suits by Paul Smith, as Gemma says, they were a great option for that country-chic look without being too heavy, like tweed. Ideal for a sunny summer wedding.

Emma & Stuart

We’re starting the week off with a fabulous outdoor woodland wedding at Whetstead Farm in Tonbridge Kent complete with hanging sofa swing, reggae tree house and tipi reception.

It was the perfect venue to host Emma & Stuart’s festival themed wedding and music soon became the inspiration for their planning. The seating plan was made out of records and each table was named after an album. I also LOVE the genius idea of having personal cassette tapes as place names too. I wonder what mine would have been…..

If it wasn’t enough that Emma had a B.E.A.utiful Pronovias lace & feather gown, she also had a second dress from ASOS so she could dance the night away to their funky Rollin Stoned band. I absolutely adore the laid back vibe of this fun & quirky wedding and the dressing up box looks like it brought so much fun & entertainment to the day.

Tammy & Tom

Goodness what a super stylish couple. It just goes to show that there’s a whole lot of chic in keeping things simple, Tammy and Tom’s wedding decor was primarily pretty florals and a selection of silver helium balloons which worked beautifully in the light-filled Tab Centre in Shoreditch.

Tammy mentioned that the reception venue was set up the evening before the big day before by family and friends – and that it was almost as enjoyable as the day itself. DIY at its very best – budget friendly and heaps of fun.

I absolutely adore Tammy’s choice of Lanvin gown paired with a gold statement necklace from Jenny Sweetnam, timeless, elegant and oh so modern.

George & Will

I literally adore the raw beauty of the Asylum in London. It’s rugged paintwork, exposed brick and stain glass windows bring SO much character and charm to a wedding ceremony and the abundance of church candles placed at the altar are the perfect finishing touches to soften the mood of this fabulous urban venue.

There is a black and white image of the Groom sitting at the altar waiting for his Bride staring off into space with a slight smile on his face that literally made me sigh as I can only imagine all the lovely things he must be thinking. As I continued through the images and saw the beam on his face when his Bride did arrive I think my heart skipped a beat! I absolutely delight in perfectly captured moments like these, and take my hat off to the super talented Mister Phill for making me grin like a Cheshire cat alongside them. I challenge you to not feel the same… you just can’t! A simply adorable couple having the time of their lives on their wedding day.

Charlotte & Jason

This morning’s pretty wedding was all about gathering together friends and family and having a big old party. To be honest, I think that’s what all weddings should be about – especially if everyone is going to look as happy and content as all of Charlotte and Jason’s guests!!

We seem to be featuring more and more weddings where the Bride and Groom do a ‘first look’ – so rather than seeing each other at the end of the aisle, you meet before hand and basically dazzle your other half with your beauty (or something like that). Charlotte and Jason’s first look is lovely – you can feel the sense of anticipation pouring out of the images, then their beaming smiles when they see each other just says it all really.

I love that they decided to walk down the aisle together – we’ve said it a million times before, but if a tradition doesn’t work for you – then don’t do it!! You’ll be much happier for it – just look at this pair 🙂
