Yellow Bridesmaids Dresses For A Moroccan Inspired Wedding By The Sea

Bridesmaids in yellow dresses has been one of our favourite trends for this year. It’s such a gorgeous, happy colour and despite what everyone thinks, there’s a shade of yellow to suit us all. Bride Victoria has embraced mustard yellow, and a host of other jewel-esque tones for her relaxed and bohemian wedding by the sea. Victoria and Johnny love to travel and so their day is influenced by many different places, including their home county of Cornwall.

The dreamy images come from the wonderful Ben Selway, who this pair are lucky enough to call a friend, and he has captured the magic of their day just beautifully…

Camilla & Chris

I have a LOT of love for this wedding. So much so that when I saw gorgeous Bride Camilla on The Mews Bridal’s blog, I just knew we needed to feature her big day on Rock My Wedding. For starters, Camilla is wearing a combination of two of my favourite designers, Stephanie Allin (best of British, feminine and lacy) and Laure de Sagazan (French bohemian loveliness). She’s also sporting a totally unique antique wax crown by Rosie Weisencrantz, which is just so effortlessly stylish. Then there’s the Bridal party in white – my favourite look for Bridesmaids. And the whimsical bouquet by The Blue Carrot – simply stunning.

And finally, just when I thought I couldn’t love it anymore, the whole wedding is by the ocean in Cornwall, my favourite place in world!

The images are beautifully atmospheric – Andy at Harrera Images has such a distinctive style that somehow both brims with fresh creativity and yet produces a strong sense of nostalgia. The wedding itself, and the capture of the day, has stolen my heart and I hope you enjoy it too.

Anna & John

Anna and John married in the beautiful county of Cornwall, at the very distant end of the country, over looking the mighty Atlantic ocean, surrounded by close family and friends – the perfect wedding by my books.

I love how intimate and relaxed the whole affair seems to be, it’s more like a house party from a bygone era when City folk would escape to their country retreats for a weekend of debauchery. Except it’s wholesome and wonderful and there’s a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony.

Anna hunted down a sample of her dream Sassi Holford gown as she simply couldn’t justify spending the money on herself, when her and John had prioritised lots of other things for their big day. The lovely team at Sassi Holford were really accommodating and Anna deserves to have found her dream dress within her budget because she worked so hard for it!!

Anna was lucky enough to have a headpiece made by the lovely Holly Young – I’ve visited her studio and seen her work in the flesh, it really is gorgeous.
