An Elegant Autumnal Wedding At Shottle Hall.

It’s Friday afternoon and the sun is shining here in the UK! A weekend of BBQs and ice cold wine is definitely in order.

We’re rounding things off today with a gorgeous Autumn wedding, featuring our favourite Autumn wedding accessory – a faux fur jacket. Bride Ann-Marie just looks so snug and stylish.

I’m also coveting her glittery Miu Miu’s which she managed to find on eBay…I know!! What a bargain.

Ann-Marie and David travelled in a vintage Jag for their big day, which makes for some great photos. As does their gorgeous page boy Marcus in his oversized suit. Such a cutie!

So here’s our final bit of pretty for you for the week. Have a lovely weekend everyone and if you’re getting married in the morning…enjoy every second and breathe a sigh of relief, because the sun has got his hat on!

Gatsby Glam In The Derbyshire Dales.

The flowers in today’s wedding are so, so, so pretty. Every time Karen’s bouquet sneaks into shot, it just looks divine. If I was her, I don’t think I’d have let it go all day. AND the coral roses used are called Little Miss Piggy. Isn’t that the best name ever?

I also love Karen’s choice of the brightly coloured Bridesmaid gowns – her girls look ravishing and they makes the perfect contrast to the natural surroundings of the venue, Shottle Hall, in the rolling Derbyshire countryside.

The images come from Kathryn Edwards, who Karen found via our very own Love Lust List.

There are so many fun shots of the wedding party – anyone looking for something different for their group shots should take note. Matt and his gangster Groomsmen, and Karen and her glamorous girlies, all look like they are having so much fun and it’s the perfect tone for their Great Gatsby inspired day.

A Once In A Lifetime Love.

We’re rounding off the week with a rustic DIY wedding that I just know you’re going to love.

Lisa chose to have dried flowers, as opposed to fresh ones. I must admit I wasn’t sure about this until I saw these beautiful images…

But now, I’m sold on dried flowers. Lisa’s flower headpiece is so pretty and looks very country maid-esque in her long blonde tousled hair. Add to that the delicate bouquet and urn full of dried flowers and there you have it. I’m a dried flower convert.

It’s probably because they look so delicate, but wild and bohemian at the same time. And not only that, but they make an amazing, long lasting keepsake from your day.

I should also probably tell you that I really struggled, and I mean really struggled, to chose the final images for todays post. Jake Morley has captured the day in such a way that every image makes you smile.
