Historical Wedding At The Orangery Ingestre

Discover this stylish real wedding blending historical eras, a Victorian orangery, 90s music, and unexpected touches from a surprise ice cream van to a DJ-led first dance. Perfect inspiration for couples planning something unique.

My husband and I are huge history lovers, so we knew we wanted our favourite historical eras incorporated into our day. What made it unique was that we didn’t pick one era, or even aside from the historical influence, one aesthetic or theme; we took from an eclectic mix of things we love and hoped it would all work out and look cohesive, which we really think it did!
To top everything off, we couldn’t believe that purely by fate, there was a medieval re-enactment taking place in a different area of our venue. This was completely by chance, and we watched the battle and even had some photos with this. This really made it feel like the stars aligned for us on our wedding day.
