Lauren & Chris’ Tregedna Lodge wedding was a true reflection of them! With a subtle punk rock theme, the couple had musical decor everywhere! With lyrics on banners and a record player guest book! Lauren & Chris did things exactly how they wanted them. The couple found two of their fabulous suppliers via Rock My Wedding! Recommended Supplier, Rebel & Anchor, planned and styled the whole day and Recommended Supplier, Pura VIDa Cornwall, beautifully captured every fun-filled moment! The couple also had some decor from Recommended Supplier, Out of The Ordinary Event Hire.

We found our amazing photographer, PuraVIDa Cornwall, from Rock My Wedding! He totally got us as a couple and created some incredible shots of two very awkward humans! We also found Rebel & Anchor from Rock My Wedding who, after our first consultation, knew they were for us. The aim was to keep all of our suppliers local to our venue and mostly managed to succeed within a 20-mile radius. We really wanted to work with non-traditional suppliers who understood our vision and helped bring it to life.

Lauren & Chris' vibe was punk rock boho. As music fans, they wanted this to be reflected in their decor including displaying their fave lyrics on banners throughout the venue, music-themed table names, favours, and a record player guest book! The party got started with a rock and noughties-themed setlist. In addition to this, Lauren's first ever words to Chris were 'You're a babe', so of course, this also played a part in their invitations and banners, which they DIY'd! Some of the couple's favourite moments include the alpacas (!), the pink Cadillac wedding car, and speeches from Lauren's mum and dad. Our personal absolute highlights of this day include Lauren's pink denim jacket cover-up and sunglasses combo, THAT dessert table and the cute alpaca cake toppers. Of course, we also love that this couple had Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton as one of their wedding readings.

Looking to add some rock ’n’ roll to your day? The answer is simple. Sunglasses!

If you are going fully DIY, I cannot recommend a wedding coordinator enough! Life is too short to be stressing about the little things when you can have somebody to take care of that for you on the day. As a couple, remember to love each other, communicate and express yourself. Don't leave everything until the last minute, unless it's the table plan! If you have anybody contributing to your wedding, be upfront and ask if any conditions come with it.
