What Made Our Day Unique
Handmade place settings made of delicious ginger biscuits with everyone's names printed in the lemon icing. It took a long time to make them but ended up definitely worthwhile. We also had a first look set of photos before all the guests arrived and it was a nice portion of calm before everything kicked off after all the months of stress in the lead up to the day.
Inspiration & Styling
The vibe was black tie. If you can believe it Ellie thought that it would reduce the number of people looking at her if everyone else was also super dressed up. It didn't work: everyone looked at her and she looked stunning! Our cake maker is a close friend and for the flowers, Ellie spent a long time looking at Instagram until she found someone who she liked design-wise and also grew all her own flowers in the South West.
