Vicky & Fraser

We’ve long been a fan of a cheese tower as an alternative to a traditional wedding cake, especially when they’re as beautiful as todays masterpiece. It’s fits in beautifully with the industrial Brixton East wedding venue and compliments the colour scheme of this city wedding to perfection with its herb, grape and fig decor.

Vicky and Fraser’s contemporary style shines through in their fashion choices too. Whilst the Bridesmaids don Jumpsuits from Zara, bride Vicky opts for a gorgeous figure hugging gown from Belle & Bunty. The captured of her (and her girls) by Joanna Bongard Phography outside the pink door is literally bridal perfection.

With bags more personality and fairy lights to swoon over, you’ll be hard pressed not to be bowled over by this adorable couple and their wedding.

Samantha & Sam

This wedding has filled my heart with so much joy, it feels impossible to write down any words that will do it justice. Samantha and Sam have been together since they were teenagers so the ease of their relationship, and the fact that they have a shared friendship group just makes this wedding feel so relaxed and carefree. The glorious sunshine and lovely handmade details also help – Samantha has created the ultimate party in a meadow and it looks like everyone had a marvellous time.

It’s always a pleasure to read that a couple have used Rock My Wedding to inspire their big day and even more so when the result is this lovely. Samantha & Sam’s wedding is definitely going down as one of my favourites for the year, and I have a very strong suspicion that you’re going to love it too…

Leanne & Colin

Doesn’t Leanne look beautiful? I love a clean and minimal Bridal look and this gown by fashionista designers Belle & Bunty is just perfect. The way the skirt falls is heavenly.

Leanne & Colin’s photographer Marshal Gray always captures the magic of those ‘getting ready’ shots so well – the sense of anticipation is tangible and the final moments with the girls are such a special time to remember.

If you’re looking for photography that’s a little bit different to the norm, then do have a browse of Gary’s website, we’ve also featured lots of his work on RMW before (which you can see here).

Tutti Frutti…

Sharing inspiration shoots with you all is always fun, but this one is extra special. Firstly because it’s really colourful and full of gorgeous blooms, secondly because it’s been planned and styled by the wonderful Italian Eye team, but also because it was shot by our very own Adam. He was lucky enough to attend a fabulous workshop with the Italian Eye team and a whole host of lovely UK based wedding suppliers, and so the results of the shoot are a glorious mash up of British and Italian ideas, but with that extra dimension of fun that comes from enjoying time together doing creative things in the sunshine, fuelled by good food and wine of course 😉

The Italian Eye team plan and style some seriously beautiful weddings at the most incredible locations, one of those being the stunning Borgo Sant’Ambrogio, an historic Tuscan estate nestled in a nature reserve. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and the ultimate luxury venue for your destination wedding. If you’re planning on getting married in Italy, Borgo Sant’Ambrogio and Italian Eye would make a winning combination. It was certainly a fabulous venue for the workshop and for this shoot!

But first, these gorgeous images and I promise you’ll be lusting after the Belle & Bunty dresses and flowers by The Flower Appreciation Society just as much as you’ll be lusting after a trip to Italy…

Oh and that Vespa…she belongs to venue Borgo Sant’Ambrogio too, imagine being whisked off into the sunset by your new husband on that. The epitome of romance and the perfect scene for some incredible photos!

Sarah & Mike

Sarah’s Belle & Bunty wedding dress looks as if it was made just for her, all delicate lace and covered buttons and silken train. Perfect really for this sun-kissed, dreamy big day held at her parent’s house where she married the love of her life Mike.

I am in love with the exquisite photography by Bartek Kot at Shades of Love; you can guarantee that I’ll be pinning a whole heap of images from the gallery below including the roses, Sarah’s sweet pea bouquet, THAT ladder with all the daisies oh and Sarah’s parent’s house complete with rowboat at the front. House goals right there. Come and take a look.

Charlotte & Grant

Well hello lovely people, Becky here! It’s been a while hasn’t it? But I’m back and I’m back with an insanely gorgeous wedding for you. I’m good to you like that. This one has to be our little secret… You cannot tell our Charlotte, she will be sick with jealousy because Charlotte and Grant got married in the Dordogne (only our Charlotte’s favourite place in the whole world) at Chateau Cazenac and it was divine. It lasted a week (there was canoeing and all sorts), all the guests pitched in to help and Charlotte is something of a dream. And the colour pop flowers?! Don’t even get me started. Please read Charlotte’s account of the day and the planning especially if you are having a destination wedding, she has some great advice for you. Oh, also, there are sparklers. Well, it is bonfire night.
