Laleh & Rob

One is a Manager for Warehouse, and the other a Creative Director for a cycling magazine, so you just know this wedding is going to be cool and it doesn’t disappoint.

This cute couple hired a wonderful house in the countryside, bought sandwiches and cakes from M&S, played badminton and croquet had a Garden Party with their closest friends and family. The decor, with its pops of colour, is a perfect compliment to the lush green of the countryside. Did someone say Garden Goals? We did!

Bride Laleh is wearing a Tatyana Merenyuk dress with gold shoes and jewellery kept very simple and is effortlessly stylish.

Samantha & Patrick

Samantha and Patrick found the most incredible venue for their big day, I’m really excited to share it with you all. The Gathering in Edale is a stunning rural farm in the Peak District with safari tents and lodges for accommodation, plus intimate barn areas and rolling countryside for your ceremony and reception.

This gorgeous pair filled the space with wild flowers and foliage, balloons and personalised details making everything feel really welcoming and lovely. Samantha wears Self Portrait whose not-strictly-bridal dresses are just perfect for a laid back bride who still wants to look stylish. Images come from the very lovely Claudia Rose Carter, who has captured the details beautifully as always, as well as some gorgeous couple portraits too.

Alex & Anesh

My favourite part of my own wedding day was saying my vows during the ceremony, so I am a little jealous that bride & groom Alex & Anesh got to say their vows twice during their beautiful humanist and Hindu ceremonies, not to mention double the gorgeous outfits.

Northbrook Park was the host for this wonderful celebration and fusion of cultures and was a truly beautiful location for Claudia Rose Carter Photography to capture all those precious memories.

Sian & Mike

I’ve looked at weddings pretty much every single day of my life for the last five or so years. That means I’ve seen A LOT of weddings. And so it’s rare to find one that’s different or unusual to anything I’ve come across before. But somehow, creative couple Sian and Mike have totally shaken things up and styled a wedding day that’s full of colour, quirky details, gorgeous illustrations (by Sian herself) and is totally, utterly unique. I love every detail and found myself pouring over the images just soaking up the creativity.

The splashes of colour are gorgeous too, just perfect for adding some fun to proceedings. Sian wore two floral inspired outfits, the first a bold skirt from Coast which makes me think of a tulip and then a more dance friendly number from Chichi London in the evening, which a gorgeous softer floral motif.

Images come from Claudia Rose Carter, who was the perfect photographer for the job, being a true creative herself. Enjoy lovely ones, you’re in for a treat.

Layla & Alastair

Layla & Alistair’s wedding is achingly hip. Their Scandinavian meets mid-century modern decor courtesy of Lemonbox Studios is exquisite, especially as I am having a moment with geometric shapes and statement ceiling hangings. The florals are equally special, coral peonies enhanced by an abundance of lush green foliage and fancy.

Layla’s choice of gown was apparently very last minute but you would never know, an elegant vintage number that looks literally as it was made for her. Alistair’s choice of bright blue suit doesn’t disappoint either, neither does his rather dashing beard.

Enjoy folks!

Blush Pink & Candlelight For A Touch Of Vintage Glamour.

sarahandnic

You may recognise the lovely Sarah and Nic. We featured their Editorial-esque engagement shoot back in May, so we’re thrilled to share their wedding with you this morning. And it’s extra special because the images come from the wonderful Claudia Rose Carter.

I love it when a couple gets married at the Bride’s family home and that’s exactly what Sarah and Nic decided to do. I can imagine there’s something very comforting about getting ready in the home you grew up in and celebrating your marriage in your old back-garden, surrounded by the people you love.

I’m also a huge fan of simple, elegant details – for me all you need to make something look beautiful is flowers and candlelight and that’s exactly what Sarah chose to style her big day with.

To entertain the adorable little ones at this wedding Sarah and Nic provided them with an Eye-Spy list, a pencil topped with a golden animal (see here for a tutorial) and a camera. If only we got to see the awesome shots captured by the little monkeys.
