The very lovely Vanya & David chose to get married at The Granary Estates which made the perfect rustic luxe setting for their subtle Game of Thrones inspired wedding day (also see this article if this vibe floats your boat). Vanya looks stunning in her full skirted gown, the golden hour portraits of her swirling in the fields are just beautiful.
Ania Ames has captured the day perfectly, as well as those portrait shots I mentioned, check out the wedding party shots where everyone looks so joyful…and the lovely details, amazing sweet treats and firepit hangs – there’s so much to see!!!
Pam and Eoin’s wedding day was planned from their home in Australia, so they had to go with their gut on lots of supplier choices, but luckily the pair are obviously very good at choosing wedding suppliers 😉 their rustic Scottish barn wedding is filled with pretty details, gorgeous homegrown flowers and Scottish touches.
Look out for Pam’s Harry Potter motif too, blink and you’ll miss it, but it’s a very clever way to add some fun into your big day without compromising on style. Enjoy!
Lovely Bride Lorn is making me want to be her friend. She has no shame over admitting that she totally fan girl-ed over RMW while planning her wedding, and I’m a total RMW fan girl, one of the originals in fact 😉 She also based her wedding reception meal around the ULTIMATE French restaurant – L’Entrecote, where they only serve steak and chips, with the most buttery, herby sauce you’ve ever tasted. Honestly if you haven’t tried it before, you haven’t lived. In fact, if anyone wants to join my new BFF and I on a road trip to France then let me know…
Now that her wedding day is over, she’s enjoying her daily dose of Rock My via our lovely interiors site, Rock My Style, so we’ve well and truly welcomed her into the fold. THANK YOU Lorn & Russ for being so lovely and for letting us feature your beautiful wedding day.
Images come from the wonderful John Barwood – his work always strikes a note in my heart and this wedding is no execption. And we’re not the only ones who think so, John received a Junebug Wedding Photo Award for the image of the couple dancing during the ceilidh reception. It’s SO striking and captures the essence of joy that a wedding brings to perfection. Right, let’s get started shall we? I have a feeling you’re going to love this one…
We’ve shared several weddings with darker colour palettes this week, so it’s lovely to share something a little different this morning. Citrus tones never fail to make me smile and this weddings yellow colour scheme gets it spot on. Hannah & Tom’s rustic wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns is super pretty and full of details to covet (read steal).
White Stag weddings have captured some gorgeous images and the confetti moment is absolutely perfect. The brightly coloured confetti looks incredible and it’s just another moment that can’t fail to put a smile on your face.
