Candlelit Christmas Wedding at Gray’s Inn London

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and this candlelit Christmas wedding at Gray’s Inn London is certainly full of joy.

Cara & Huw fully embraced the festive season with seasonal wreaths and Christmas carols, and smiled the whole time making John Barwood Photography‘s job a delight. It helped that he knew most of the family, having already captured Cara’s sister Lorn’s wedding, that RMW were lucky enough to feature too.

So if you want to feel all warm and cosy inside, definitely take a moment to savour this beautiful Winter wedding.

Charlotte & Sam

This colourful and industrial seaside wedding took place at the fabulous East Quay Venue in Whitstable, Kent. With the weather a little moody, and the florals bright and pretty, it created a stunning backdrop for some truly spectacular portraits captured by Ross Hurley of this incredibly cool couple.

Keeping everything relaxed and complimenting East Quay’s decor, they filled it to the brim with antique finds and vintage props all offset with the vibrant blooms spilling out of everything. It really does look incredible.

As does Charlotte in her bespoke cropped lace top & tulle skirt by Vintage Trousseau. She mentions not being able to imagine wearing anything else after trying on the bridal separates, and I have to agree with her. Her bridal look along with the floral headpiece and leather jacket cover up suits her down to the ground. What a bridal beauty, and what a fabulous and fun wedding.

Marisa & Edward

Marisa’s family live in Zambia and Edward’s family live in the Caribbean and Germany, so a stunning rustic barn reception at Gate Street Barn in Surrey was the perfect central place for their wedding blessing.

They incorporated both their cultures and traditions using a mesmerising bright blue & teal African print to make the flower girl dresses and a Zambian ‘Chitenge’ fabric to make the bunting adorning the barn. The homage to the cultures continued in Marisa’s bouquet with native proteas and succulents, which I have to say is simply stunning!

The images captured by Anushé Low of Marisa & Edward’s first dance are fabulous. I love how Marisa’s Claire Pettibone dress moves as she and Edward do their Salsa first dance, very fitting as they met doing Salsa dance lessons and what a way to get the party started!
