Merriscourt wedding venue is a breathtakingly beautiful Cotswold space on the border of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Merriscourt offers their couples complete exclusivity of the estate to create an exceptional Cotswold getaway experience with friends and family. When our bride showed me a picture of her bridal suit and bright green wedding shoes, I just knew I had to have a styled shoot around them. And it simply HAD to be at Merriscourt. I'm known for my bold colours and statement pieces, with the couple’s personality at the forefront. So that's what we went for - and it turned out brilliantly.

Let me paint a picture of the enchanting Merricourt wedding venue nestled in the idyllic heart of The Cotswolds. Merricourt is like a fairytale brought to life, where romance weaves its way through every stone. The venue's historic charm and ancient oak trees set the stage for a truly magical day. As gentle sunlight shines through the leaves, it illuminates the manicured gardens, creating a dreamlike ambiance. From the delightful rose-covered pergolas to the tranquil pond, each corner exudes elegance and serenity. This kind of wedding venue is the perfect backdrop for an editorial shoot like this. The colorful, vibrant, and bright wedding theme on display at Merriscourt is where joy and exuberance take center stage. The huge tablescape donned with colourful centrepieces, wedding streamers, and balloons ties together the day perfectly. The bright seasonal flowers in white, pink, and orange tones, including stunning statement heroes such as roses, ranunculus, and Iceland poppies added that little extra pizazz to the theme. The bride's white bridal suit was a dreamy juxtaposition for the more colourful, Ibiza-inspired colour theme. Every element of the shoot is aesthetically wonderful, and we're going to be thinking about it for quite some time.
Our bride’s suit was by High Street brand Zara. This created a modern look for a stunning bride. Makeup was kept natural to accentuate the bride’s features. This was then brightened with a pop of colour on her eyes and lips. The bride’s hair was styled back in a sophisticated updo to showcase the stunning handmade silver jewellery and accessories by Gabriella Casemore, known for her approach to jewellery design characterised by her attention to detail and unwavering ethical standards.
