Friday The 13th Wedding At The Shack Revolution

A non-traditional Friday the 13th wedding filled with mariachi music, tacos, tequila and a jungle-inspired disco dance floor, which proves that breaking the rules makes the best celebrations.

We wanted the day to feel like a destination wedding at home - I think we nailed it. We loved our venue and the courtyard; the outdoor area was so perfect that we even had our speeches there. Think tacos, tears, dancing, tequila, and timeless romance, a true reflection of many cultures, two worlds, and one incredible love story.
Do what feels right for you, not what’s expected. It’s easy to get caught up in traditions or opinions, but your wedding should reflect your story, your rhythm, and your joy. We picked what we loved about weddings and left the rest, and this made the day feel so authentic. Also, don’t underestimate the little details that make you you. Whether it’s your favourite food, music, or travel memories. Break the traditions, make your own. The day flies by, so be sure to be present as much as you can.
