How can you help me with my wedding planning?

I am passionate about your wedding day reflecting you as a couple and when it comes to multicultural weddings, there are a lot of elements to consider in the planning. Having a wedding day that reflects both cultures gives you a chance to share your heritage, traditions and love story with all those who are special to you. Whether you are bringing together two cultural backgrounds, two religions, or just different traditions, my aim is to cohesively bring out the most of your personalities and showcase your love story in an original and authentic way. I want you to celebrate your love in a way that represents the both of you - usually with the biggest party going!

What is your approach to wedding planning like?

My main aim is ensuring you and your guests have the most memorable and fun experience from your wedding day. I do this by working with only the very best, individually handpicked wedding suppliers, who I feel will compliment you and your partner best. When you look back on your wedding day, I want you to recall all the little things that made your day unique, fun and special. I want you to remember how great the food tasted, how amazing the entertainment was and how beautiful all the personal touches were. You can think of me as a friend, one who is obsessed with organisation and planning. My approach always puts you and your partner first. I will alleviate the pressure that comes with planning a wedding so you can simply enjoy it. Just as you should.

How do we get started?

Our journey together starts with an initial complimentary consultation where we will chat about how you envisage your wedding day to be, your main priorities, what you’re both excited about and any special details you wish to include. I am passionate about ensuring your wedding day reflects your personalities and quirks as a couple so I will spend some time at the beginning getting to know you both – your hobbies, your culture, your interests and most importantly, your love story. But of course, it is important that I am also a good fit for you, so I invite you to ask any questions about me, my story and how I can better help you plan your special day.

How many weddings do you take on each year?

I am fully committed to each of my couples and aim to provide the most bespoke support, hence, I only take on a small number of full planning services each year. Please get in touch to arrange an initial complimentary consultation.

Do you travel?

Yes! Although I am based in the beautiful town of Royal Tunbridge Wells in the leafy suburbs of Kent, I typically plan weddings across the South East of England, including Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire. However, I absolutely love to travel to new places, so if you are getting married further afield, then feel free to get in touch.

Lydia did such an amazing job at organising our wedding and keeping us sane throughout the build up! We absolutely loved the day and wouldn't change a thing :) Our original wedding was due to have nearly 400 guests with two events, one being the civil wedding and the other a Hindu ceremony. Unfortunately, due to covid 19 we postponed the celebrations to 2021. At the time, covid restrictions in UK were continually changing along with rules for weddings. Lydia did an amazing job during that time, providing support and advice on how best to adapt the celebrations to suit current restrictions. We ended up having a much smaller wedding of 30 people that Lydia managed to organise in a much shorter timescale, even finding a new venue last minute! She was always available to pick up the phone to talk things through and managed to still make the day a true reflection of both of us! Thank you so much :) xx

Where do I begin?! Initially I was unsure about whether we really needed a planner, it was a big commitment and I wasn’t sure if I could put my trust into someone else to create my vision. But Lydia took the time to get to know me, reassure me and hear my vision. I knew I needed support to pull together all the final details. From the minute I said yes, she was by my side through every step, I couldn’t have felt more safe knowing she was there, she took the time to get to know us both. We’ve had tears and laughter, and a whole new adventure. Her attention to detail, insight and calming nature made our day so perfect.
