She walked us through crafting our vows that truly reflected who we are now, not just who we were over 20 years ago when we first said "I do." Her thoughtful questions, encouragement and tips made it easy and even fun to put our hearts on paper. The ceremony itself? A dream and a once in a lifetime experience. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding celebrant for our wedding at Blenheim Palace. From the very first meeting, Kathryn made us feel completely at ease. Initially, the ceremony and writing our own vows was something we were quite worried about but Kathryn helped us through every part. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and our ceremony really reflected that. It was the perfect balance between heartfelt and humour which is exactly how we are as a couple. We really can’t recommend Kathryn enough, she was calming and always very responsive, coming back to us pretty much immediately on any questions we had. She made the day so personal and touching. It was really important to us that we had a humanist celebrant for our wedding in July 2024. Kathryn was recommended to us by our photographer, and we are so glad that we went with her - it has been a delight every step of the way 😊 When we first got in contact she was quick to set up a video call to meet us and make sure that we were all on the same vibe. She clearly explained her approach to being a celebrant and made sure we were clear on the differences between a humanist celebrant and a registrar. We got on so well and she had such great energy that we made sure to book in with her straight away! From there we had ongoing communication via a WhatsApp chat she set up, which was super helpful, and we met in person as well. We aren't in the same part of the country so it was great that Kathryn was able to make that work! Kathryn's process made writing our vows and creating a ceremony with her really straightforward. She crafted the perfect ceremony that incorporated lots of little stories about our relationship and life together as well as a really meaningful and personalised gesture to symbolise our relationship. We decided quite late to incorporate a reading from my sister, which she included with no problems at all, and she also helped us plan out the order of things in and around the ceremony. On the day of the wedding Kathryn really helped me to calm my nerves and feel at ease. In the ceremony she brought incredible energy and warmth, and found the perfect balance of humour, joy and sincerity. We are both so happy with our choice of Kathryn as our celebrant and would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married or renewing their vows.
